Growth From the Community
More than 50 years ago in Livonia, Michigan, William P. Lindhout, Architect began building the firm's reputation for design solutions that benefit local communities. That reputation and the firm itself has grown along with these
communities. In 1969, we became William Pierce Lindhout
Associates,
Architects. In 1978 our Livingston County office opened, and 9
years
later moved to Brighton. At the same time, we evolved to Lindhout
Associates architects aia pc. This evolution was achieved through
personal and professional involvement in every aspect of our
communities, working with agencies, municipalities, institutions and
individuals from the commercial, religious, educational, industrial,
and residential segments.
Your Need Plus Our Vision You might think it ends with a building - when we create the
physical envelope of brick and mortar that encompassess your need, and
part of it does. At Lindhout Associates, we take great care to build
relationships as
well as develop design solutions that stand the test of time. A
great
deal of our work is commissioned by previous clients.
The Vitality of Diversity In 1957, we began with nationally recognized design in
residential
commissions, which led to work in the religious and commercial
fields.
During the '60s we responded to the surge of need for educational
buildings. Our activity in the religious community expanded in
the
'70s. In the '80s and '90s, we saw significant growth in the
commercial and municipal design. We have expanded our
services to all these client categories in the current decade. |
